Love Is Not Jealous

Aug 2, 2021 | Clinical Psychotherpy

In this video counselors Dr Kevon Owen, Destini Ramsey and Brent Hazelwood are talking about “Love Is Not Jealous”. Love is a choice. Being jealous and having envy is a choice as well. You desire to have or be what another person haves or you perceive them to be. Jealousy is in our nature and has to be controlled by ourselves to not be jealous or envious of others. Some people are just jealous due to lack of knowledge and it being in ourselves naturally. Overcoming this is another matter altogether. You can find out what the person who say has a skill or something we would like to have and find out what it takes to develop that for ourselves. That could be a positive step to overcoming jealousy. You might also find that what you thought you desired to learn from this person isn’t what you bargained for.

Living in a jealous or envious state is actually living somewhat in misery. It is not good for our mental or physical health. Jealousy can be a very difficult thing to deal with and overcome. A trained and professional counselor can be very valuable asset in helping deal with these situations. If you have problems with jealousy or envy in your life and feel you need some help dealing with this and overcoming this contact Dr Kevon Owen by calling 405-740-1249 or 405-655-5180.
